This is a distinctive biographical sketch of Sri Guru Gobind Singh – the tenth and last Prophet of Sikhism – distinctive in the sense that it is correlative to the Divine mission of Sikh religion capable of ushering in a new civilization, higher (as observed by Arnold Toynbee) than the earlier Indic and Hindu civilizations. The author, rather, goes beyond Arnold Toynbee by expounding that Sikhism has the potential of heralding a new World Civilization of the third millennium.
