Terms and Conditions.
The owner and operator of this site is Singh Brothers, SCO 223-224, City Centre, Near Guru Nanak Bhawan, Amritsar. By purchasing products from “Singh Brothers” through this website the purchaser (“Customer”), agrees to the following terms and conditions of sale.
1.1. When the Customer confirms its purchase order, the Customer agrees to purchase the products in the Customer’s “shopping cart” for their price and shipping and handling charges extra as applicable.
1.2. Singh Brothers will send the products to the Customer as soon as practicable after it receives payment for the products.
2. Defective products
2.1 If the Customer gets a defective product from Singh Brothers, the Customer must return the product to Singh Brothers within 28 days of receiving the product, with a copy of the invoice for the product and a brief letter which includes the Customer’s details and identifies the defect in the product.
2.2 If the product is defective, Singh Brothers will in its discretion, either:
(a) replace the product; or
(b) provide a refund of the price of the defective product to the Customer.
2.3 Singh Brothers will not accept any liability for any defective product which the Customer does not return in accordance with clause 2.1
2.4 In no case shall the maximum liability of Singh Brothers exceed the price of the product in respect of which a claim is made.
3. Stock availability
3.1 The Customer shall not be entitled to object if details about products on the Website are not correct or if advertised products are not available or if images of products differ from the actual products.
3.2 If the Customer pays for a product which Singh Brothers cannot supply Singh Brothers will refund the price of that product to the Customer.
3.3 Prices, offers and stock availability may vary between singhbrothers.com and Singh Brothers stores.
4. Products sent to incorrect address
4.1 If the Customer does not receive the products within 30 days of the date of purchase, it must be notified. Singh Brothers shall not be liable to the Customer for those products unless the Customer notifies Singh Brothers within 30 days of the date of purchase.
4.2 If a product is not received by a Customer because it was sent by Singh Brothers to an incorrect address due to an error by Singh Brothers then Singh Brothers shall be responsible for the resending or sending in replacement of the product or refunding of the price of the product.
4.3 If a product is not received by the Customer because the Customer provided an incorrect or insufficient address, then:
(a) subject to clause , if the product is returned to Singh Brothers, Singh Brothers will resend the product to the Customer provided that the Customer first pays the cost of postage and handling for resending; or
(b) if the product is not returned to Singh Brothers, then Singh Brothers shall have no further responsibility.
5. Non-claimed products
If products which a Customer has purchased are returned to Singh Brothers by a person other than the Customer and Singh Brothers cannot, despite reasonable efforts, contact the Customer or the Customer does not contact Singh Brothers within 3 months of products received by Singh Brothers then no claim shall be entertained afterwards.
6. Delays
The Customer agrees not to hold Singh Brothers liable for any loss or damage directly or indirectly arising out of or in connection with any delay or failure to deliver within the estimated time frame.
7. Passing of risk and ownership
7.1 Subject to clauses and Singh Brothers does not accept any liability for products after it has sent the products to the Customer.
7.2 The ownership of products purchased by the Customer shall pass to the Customer upon Singh Brothers sending the products to the Customer.
8. Limitation of liability
8.1 Singh Brothers shall not be liable to the Customer for refunding the price of products or replacing or exchanging products which the Customer purchases through Singh Brothers’ website other than as set out in these terms and conditions.
8.2 Singh Brothers shall not be liable to the Customer for any incidental, indirect, special or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the purchase, use or performance of products or services which the Customer purchases through Singh Brothers’ website, even if Singh Brothers has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Site access
9.1 Singh Brothers hereby grants the Customer permission to access, view and download the content appearing on this site, for personal, non-commercial use only.
9.2 The Customer agrees not to use any device, method or software to interfere with the proper functioning of this site including but not limited to: spiders, robots, avatars, agents, data mining, gathering or extraction tools and attempts to probe, scan or test or breach security and authentication measures.
10. Intellectual property
10.1 The Customer agrees that the content which the Customer accesses, views or downloads and the software used to create it, remains the intellectual property of Singh Brothers.
10.2 The Customer agrees not to modify or alter the content of the website in any way, or make it available to any third parties.
11. Communications
By creating an account with Singh Brothers the Customer consents to receiving electronic communications from Singh Brothers. The Customer’s personal details will not be sold or leased to any third party. For more information please see our Privacy Policy.
12. Typographical Errors
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing or product information received from our suppliers, SinghBrothers.com shall have the right to refuse or cancel any order placed for product listed at the incorrect price. SinghBrothers.com shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, SinghBrothers.com shall immediately issue a credit of the amount charged to your account.
13. Reviews and Comments
Except as otherwise provided elsewhere in this Agreement or on the Site, anything that you submit or post to the Site and/or provide to SinghBrothers including without limitation, ideas, know-how, techniques, questions, reviews, comments, and suggestions (collectively, "Submissions") is and will be treated as non confidential and nonproprietary, and SinghBrothers shall have the royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable and transferable right to use, copy, distribute, display, publish, perform, sell, lease, transmit, adapt, create derivative works from such Submissions by any means and in any form, and to translate, modify, reverse-engineer, disassemble, or decompile such Submissions. All Submissions shall automatically become the sole and exclusive property of SinghBrothers and shall not be returned to you. In addition to the rights applicable to any Submission, when you post comments or reviews to the Site, you also grant SinghBrothers the right to use the name that you submit with any review, comment, or other Content, if any, in connection with such review, comment, or other content. You represent and warrant that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to the reviews, comments and other Content that you post on this Site and that use of your reviews, comments, or other Content by SinghBrothers will not infringe upon or violate the rights of any third party. You shall not use a false e-mail address, pretend to be someone other than yourself or otherwise mislead SinghBrothers or third parties as to the origin of any Submissions or Content. 14. Termination and effect of Termination:
In addition to any other legal or equitable remedies, SinghBrothers.com may, without prior notice to you, immediately terminate the Agreement or revoke any or all of your rights granted under this Agreement. Upon any termination of this Agreement, you shall immediately cease all access to and use of the Site and SinghBrothers.com shall, in addition to any other legal or equitable remedies, immediately revoke all password(s) and account identification issued to you and deny your access to and use of this Site in whole or in part. Any termination of this Agreement shall not affect the respective rights and obligations (including without limitation, payment obligations) of the parties arising before the date of termination.

This Site is a global site and all the relevant local laws and regulations would be applicable and needs to be complied by the user of the website
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by, take effect and will be construed in accordance with the laws of Punjab, and the Customer irrevocably and unconditionally agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Amritsar, Punjab, India and courts entitled to hear appeals there from.
17. Information about Books and Authors.
We have taken all care to provide the information about books in a balanced and objective way, but we shall not be liable for any claim whatsoever for any discrepancy or incorrect information. Similarly, we have tried our best to provide information about author(s) based on known and reliable sources, but we shall not be liable for any claim for any incorrect information. However, any suggestion from any quarter to correct the information will be entertained by us subject to the scrutiny of our editorial board.
