Gurtej Singh
Gurtej Singh (1947) has worked as a teacher of history, as a civil servant and has functioned as Professor of Sikhism from 1982 to 2005. He has also worked in the political field. He has worked as human rights activist for several decades. Has special interest in Sikh History and he has written several books in Punjabi and in English. He has translated several works and has drafted the Sikh Marriage Act adopted by Pakistan as law. He has authored several research papers on religion and history. He has several publications to his credit.
