Guru Gobind Singh designated the Sri Guru Granth Sahib (Holy Scriptures) as the living Guru and declared the Shabd (Word) embodied in the SGGS as the living Guru. The language of the hymns (Compositions) in the SGGS is mainly Punjabi and is written using the Gurmukhi script. This Spanish translation is a labour of love, dedication and service to the Sikh community and other religious communities of the world. By translating the SGGS into various languages, Dr. Jarnail Singh has made available this unique treasure of Sikh spiritual thought, to Sikhs and non-Sikhs and to a much broader cross-section of the scholars of all religions around the World.
