The author first began narrating and writing the stories from Bhai Vir Singh’s Guru Nanak Chamatkar for her grandchildren in 1986. However, it was in 2010, that the author translated all the stories and expressed the wish to reach them to children everywhere. This book comprises 75 stories in all of which only a few are known. While the original stories are fairly long, the stories in this book have been abbreviated, adapted and told in a narrative style that appeals to children.
