Bikram Singh Ghuman (Prof.)
Bikram Singh Ghuman (10.04,1943) an academician and a Punjabi writer was born to Jarnail Kaur and Najar Singh in village Chhajjan wali, district Ferozpur. He is married to Amarjit Kaur.
He did Ph.d on Punjabi Kissa Kaav. He started his carrier as a school teacher (1965-1971) and later joined GNDU, Amritsar in 1971. He excelled to Professor and Head of School of Punjabi Studies, GNDU, Amritsar and retired in 2003.
He has been editing and critically evaluating the medieval Punjabi literature apart from writing a biography and some reference works.
He has been awarded by Punjabi Samikhya Board (1982) besides some other awards by literary forums.
