Ajmer Singh (15.06.1948) a Sikh Political Thinker and activist was born to Gurdial Kaur and Bir Singh in Mandi Kalan, district Bathinda.
He joined the Naxalite movement in 1970 and left his study of B.E. incomplete at Guru Nanak Engineering College, Ludhiana. He remained underground for more then a decade and had a close experience of the movement.
He was moved by the June 1984 attack on the Golden Temple, Amritsar and became sympathetic analyzer of Sikh movement and pondered over the related issues. He is active on social media and shares his balanced views on the current Sikh issues.
He has attemted to write the history and assesment of the Sikh militant movement of 1980s. His theoratical and analytical intrepretations of the events have firstever enabled the Sikh community to present their case forcefully before the world.
