Ajit Singh Aulakh (12.08.1933-00.00.0000), a Punjabi Writer was born to Joginder Kaur and Kartar Singh in Butari village, Distt. Amritsar.
He was awarded Ph.D for his research work Punjabi Lok Nat Parampra. He started his career as a lecturer in Punjabi (1956-64) and retired as District Language Officer.
He retold Sikh history for children, besides annotating the magnam opus work of Bhai Santokh Singh. He was awarded by Language Department Punjab.
